Description

One way to understand how scholarship changes over time is to look at what and who scholars work on as well as the scholars themselves. The Nineteenth-Century French Studies (NCFS) database does exactly this for nearly fifty years of conferences hosted by the namespeak organization. By collecting information on all the presentations given and the subjects of those presentations, we are in a position to see how the fortunes of various authors and artists have changed over five decades of scholarly examination.
